|Recommended: YesOlder Apartment with Class — Overall, living at Savannah Oaks has not been bad. I love the homey feeling of the apartment and the community atmosphere it provides. Being on the first floor and being an older apartment, I have spent most of my lease dealing with plumbing issues and having 3rd party contractors coming in and out of my apartment. The 3rd party contractors would leave my lights on and door unlocked after they were finished. They also did not clean up after themselves. However, when brought to the attention of the office staff, things were handled and policies changed to try and prevent unlocked doors.
It has taken a couple of months for them to come fix a whole they cut in my closet wall to get the plumbing.
Even with these issues, I have yet to feel unsafe or unwelcomed. The layout and design is very homey.

|Recommended: YesSavannah Oaks has been a great spot for me — Parking can be kind of hard to find depending on time of day, but there is always a spot. Neighbors are generally pleasant. Grounds are greatly kept and the maintenance crew are incredibly personable. Office staff are super kind and professional and have been great to work with.

|Recommended: YesDecent — My overall experience here has been decent. Not great, not terrible. Granted, most of it is not the properties fault. Most of the office staff is very friendly and maintenance is phenomenal However, my particular apartment faces 50th street and it is LOUD The walls seem paper thin so I can hear my neighbors and my floors vibrate when their kids are running in their apartment. One thing I personally frown upon within the apartment complex is the fact that there are no washer dryer connections in the units. The washer dryers provided in the units of your particular apartment has them are the compact ones and I am unable to wash my bedding in them. The laundry facility on site is nice, however it makes no sense to pay to do my laundry at the on site facility when I paid extra to have a washer and dryer in my unit. I have heard gunshots SEVERAL times since I've lived here. The staff has said that its birdshots to get rid of the birds, but I know what a small caliber gun sounds like and I'm also pretty sure that they don't set off these birdshots in the middle of the night. If you can live with all of that, then these apartments are fantastic.
